Privacy Policy

Effective:
September 16, 2026
Last updated:
September 26, 2026

Sequence Integrative (“Sequence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of people who visit our website, communicate with us, participate in Sequence programs or research, or use the Sequence product.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, the limited circumstances in which service providers may process it on our behalf, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.

Sequence does not sell personal information. We do not use participant information for advertising, cross-site profiling, or third-party marketing.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through Sequence websites, applications, organizational pilots, communications, research activities, and related services.

When an employer or other organization sponsors access to Sequence, that organization may provide limited administrative information needed to establish participation, such as a participant’s name, email address, organizational affiliation, role, or eligibility to participate.

Sponsoring access to Sequence does not give an organization access to a participant’s private behavioral information. Organizational access is subject to the boundaries described in this Policy and any applicable agreement between Sequence and the organization.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Sequence.

Account and identity information

We may collect information used to create, administer, and secure an account, including:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Account identifiers
  • Organizational affiliation
  • User role or access level
  • Authentication information
  • Records of consent, terms, and policy acceptance
  • Dates and timestamps associated with account or consent activity

We use this information to authenticate users, administer access, maintain legally and operationally important records, communicate with users, and provide the service.

Professional and workplace information

Sequence is designed to work with real professional activity. We may therefore collect information such as:

  • Organizational affiliation
  • Work role or context
  • Workplace targets, commitments, or tasks voluntarily brought into Sequence
  • Information about participation in an organizational pilot or program

A work target may contain information about a project, responsibility, professional situation, deadline, or other work context.

Participants should avoid including names, contact information, confidential information about other people, or information unrelated to the work being examined unless it is necessary to use Sequence.

Behavioral and execution information

Sequence collects information intentionally provided by participants in connection with work that is not moving as expected.

Depending on the Sequence workflow, this may include:

  • Target or task descriptions
  • Responses to structured questions
  • Ratings and selections
  • Forecasts
  • Observed experience
  • Short participant-authored descriptions
  • Timing information
  • Start, completion, or status information
  • Reflections
  • Corrective actions
  • Next-step selections
  • Information about whether work began, continued, or stopped

We use this information to operate Sequence, provide participant-facing feedback and next steps, select appropriate product pathways, evaluate product performance, support validation, and conduct research where appropriately authorized.

Behavioral records are designed to use pseudonymous subject identifiers rather than direct identifiers such as names or email addresses.

Pseudonymization is not the same as anonymization. Sequence maintains a separately protected relationship between account identity and pseudonymous behavioral records where re-identification is operationally necessary and authorized.

Derived information

Sequence may generate information from participant inputs, including:

  • Calculations
  • Pattern information
  • Summaries
  • Reliability-related signals
  • Other outputs necessary to operate the product

These outputs may be used to provide participant feedback, determine appropriate product behavior, evaluate the system, support authorized research, and produce permitted aggregate organizational information.

Internal individual-level outputs are not employer-facing by default.

Sensitive information

Some information voluntarily provided through Sequence may be sensitive in nature.

For example, participants may use health, medical, emotional, mental-health, medication-related, or similarly sensitive language when describing their own experience.

Sequence does not require participants to provide medical records, diagnoses, treatment records, or other clinical documentation. Sequence is not a healthcare provider, medical service, or medical-record system.

Where sensitive information is provided, Sequence limits its use to purposes reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Sequence service
  • Preserve the meaning and integrity of participant-directed inputs
  • Secure and troubleshoot the service
  • Conduct appropriately consented research or validation
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

Sensitive participant information is subject to the same employer-visibility restrictions as other private participant information.

Participants should not use Sequence to submit medical records or information needed for diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, or other healthcare purposes.

Website, device, and technical information

When you use Sequence websites or applications, technical systems may automatically process information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • Authentication events
  • Application requests
  • Pages or features accessed
  • Dates and timestamps
  • Error information
  • Security events
  • Audit records
  • Technical diagnostic information

We use this information to operate and secure the service, prevent misuse, troubleshoot technical problems, investigate incidents, maintain system integrity, and understand whether the service is functioning as intended.

Communications

If you contact Sequence, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • The contents of your message
  • Support information
  • Other information you voluntarily provide

If you request a conversation through the scheduling option on our website, the information you enter — such as your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us about your interest — is collected in order to arrange and hold that conversation.

We use this information to respond to inquiries, provide support, manage business relationships, and maintain appropriate records of communications.

Payment information

If Sequence offers paid services, we may maintain information such as:

  • Billing contact information
  • Transaction status
  • Subscription or purchase information
  • Records necessary for accounting or administration

Where a third-party payment processor is used, payment-card information may be collected directly by that provider rather than stored by Sequence.

Research information

If you participate in formal Sequence research, we may collect information described in the applicable informed-consent materials and research protocol.

This may include:

  • Research consent records
  • Study participation information
  • Product or behavioral data authorized for research use
  • Research-specific assessments or responses where applicable

Formal research participation is governed by the informed-consent process applicable to that study.

Use of the Sequence product alone does not constitute unrestricted consent to use identifiable personal information for research or publication.

3. How We Collect Information

We may collect information:

  • Directly from you
  • Through your use of the Sequence product
  • From an employer or organization administering your access
  • Automatically through the technical operation of our website or application
  • From authorized Sequence personnel involved in administering or supporting a program
  • Through service providers acting on Sequence’s behalf

Sequence does not purchase participant behavioral profiles from data brokers.

4. How We Use Information

Sequence may use personal information to:

  • Provide and administer the Sequence product
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Authenticate users
  • Conduct participant workflows
  • Provide participant-facing results and next steps
  • Administer organizational pilots
  • Maintain consent and authorization records
  • Provide customer and participant support
  • Protect the security and integrity of the service
  • Detect or investigate misuse, unauthorized access, or security incidents
  • Troubleshoot technical problems
  • Test and improve the service
  • Conduct product validation
  • Conduct research where appropriately authorized
  • Maintain audit and data-integrity records
  • Communicate about Sequence
  • Administer business relationships
  • Process transactions where applicable
  • Comply with legal and contractual obligations
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights

Sequence does not collect information simply because it may someday be useful. We seek to limit collection, use, and retention to information reasonably related to a legitimate product, security, operational, research, or legal purpose.

5. Organizational Access and Employer Visibility

An employer’s sponsorship of Sequence does not make private participant information employer data.

Sequence does not provide organizational customers with individual access to:

  • Participant free text
  • Private reflections
  • Private causal explanations
  • Raw individual behavioral records
  • Private participant reasoning
  • Internal individual-level outputs
  • Individual behavioral risk labels
  • Other individual-level information that Sequence has designated as private

Organizational analytical reporting is aggregate-only by default and is designed to operate without individual drill-down into private participant behavioral information.

An organization may separately possess administrative information that it supplied to Sequence, such as a participant’s name, work email address, organizational affiliation, role, or participation eligibility.

Sequence may make a specific individual disclosure where required by law or where the participant has separately and knowingly authorized that disclosure.

6. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence

Sequence uses structured and automated processing to operate portions of the product.

Certain bounded functions may use artificial-intelligence services where enabled. These functions may assist with tasks such as interpreting a limited participant response, identifying appropriate participant-facing options, selecting a product pathway, or generating a bounded product output.

When an external artificial-intelligence provider is used, Sequence may transmit the limited information reasonably necessary to perform that specific function. Depending on the function, this may include a workplace target, a bounded participant-authored response, or other relevant product context.

Sequence seeks to exclude direct identifiers from behavioral AI processing wherever the function does not require them.

An AI provider processing information on Sequence’s behalf is not authorized by Sequence to use participant information for its own advertising, marketing, employee profiling, or other independent commercial purposes.

Participant inputs sent for AI-assisted processing may include sensitive language voluntarily supplied by the participant. Sequence limits such processing to the product function for which the information was provided.

Sequence does not use automated processing to make, recommend, or substantially facilitate decisions to hire, terminate, promote, compensate, discipline, or otherwise make significant employment decisions about an individual.

Sequence does not provide employers with individual-level outputs, private participant narratives, or individual behavioral risk labels for employment decision-making.

Sequence is designed to provide evidence that can support human understanding and judgment, not replace responsible human judgment.

7. Service Providers

Sequence uses third-party service providers where necessary to operate and secure its technology.

Depending on the service being used, providers may perform functions such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Database hosting
  • Authentication
  • Application hosting
  • Website hosting and content delivery
  • Security and technical monitoring
  • Communications delivery
  • Scheduling and appointment booking
  • Payment processing
  • Bounded artificial-intelligence processing

These providers may technically process information on Sequence’s behalf when doing so is necessary to provide their service.

Sequence does not authorize service providers to use participant information for their own advertising, marketing, behavioral profiling, data brokerage, or other independent purposes.

Use of a technical provider to store, transmit, secure, or process information on Sequence’s behalf does not change Sequence’s employer-visibility boundaries.

8. Disclosure of Information

Sequence does not sell personal information.

Sequence does not disclose participant behavioral information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

Sequence does not disclose personal information to advertising networks for targeted or cross-site behavioral advertising.

These statements describe Sequence’s own conduct. They do not extend to the independent practices of a third-party service you choose to open, such as the scheduling option described in Section 11, which is governed by that provider’s own notice.

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers

We may make information available to service providers acting on our behalf when reasonably necessary to operate, host, secure, authenticate, process, or support Sequence.

Organizational reporting

Organizational customers may receive permitted aggregate information as described in this Policy and the applicable organizational agreement.

Research

Information may be used by authorized researchers or research collaborators where permitted by the applicable research consent and protocol.

Professional advisers

Information may be disclosed to attorneys, accountants, auditors, security professionals, or other advisers where reasonably necessary for professional services and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Legal or safety requirements

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law
  • Respond to valid legal process
  • Protect the rights or safety of Sequence, participants, users, or others
  • Investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Protect the integrity of the service
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

Business transactions

Information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protection of the information.

9. No Sale, Advertising, or Third-Party Direct Marketing

Sequence does not sell personal information.

Sequence does not provide participant behavioral information to advertisers.

Sequence does not use participant behavioral information to create advertising profiles.

Sequence does not disclose personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes.

Service providers performing functions on Sequence’s behalf are not authorized by Sequence to use the information they process for their own direct marketing purposes.

10. Research and Validation

Sequence conducts research and validation relating to execution reliability and related behavioral phenomena.

Product participation is not blanket permission for unrestricted research use.

Where a participant is enrolled in formal research, Sequence uses a separate informed-consent process where required. Research consent describes the purpose of the research, the information involved, how the information may be used, and applicable conditions of participation or withdrawal.

Research datasets may contain pseudonymized information.

Pseudonymized information is not anonymous information. Direct identifiers are separated from behavioral records, but authorized re-identification may remain technically possible through separately protected identity information.

Research publications and external research outputs are designed to use de-identified, aggregated, or otherwise appropriately protected information.

Sequence will not publish a participant’s name or other directly identifying information without explicit authorization.

Testimonials, attributable quotations, identifiable case studies, photographs, and similar public uses require separate authorization where appropriate.

Nothing in this Policy expands the scope of research use beyond the applicable informed-consent process.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Sequence websites or applications may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for functions such as:

  • Authentication
  • Maintaining a secure session
  • Security
  • Site or application functionality
  • Technical diagnostics
  • Understanding whether the service is operating correctly

Sequence does not use cookies to build advertising profiles from participant behavioral information.

You may be able to disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies that are necessary for authentication or application functionality may prevent portions of Sequence from working properly.

Embedded scheduling

Our website offers the option to book a conversation using a third-party scheduling service. That service is not loaded when you view our pages: it loads only if you choose to open the booking option.

When you do open it, the provider may set its own cookies and similar technologies on your device, and may load other services of its own. Those technologies are the provider’s, not ours, and are governed by that provider’s privacy notice and consent controls rather than this policy. Sequence does not control what that provider loads or what it collects through it.

If you do not open the booking option, none of this occurs. You may also contact us by email instead, at info@sequenceintegrative.com.

12. California Do Not Track Disclosure

Some web browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” or similar signal indicating that a user does not wish to be tracked across websites.

There is no universally adopted technical standard governing how all websites should respond to these legacy signals. Sequence does not currently alter its ordinary service functionality in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.

Regardless of whether a Do Not Track signal is present, Sequence does not sell participant information, use participant behavioral information for cross-site advertising, or permit advertising networks to profile participants across unrelated websites through the Sequence product.

13. Third-Party Tracking

Sequence does not knowingly permit advertising networks, data brokers, or similar third parties to collect personally identifiable information about participants over time and across unrelated websites for those third parties’ own advertising or profiling purposes.

Technical service providers may receive limited device, network, or request information as a necessary consequence of hosting, securing, transmitting, or operating the service on Sequence’s behalf. Sequence does not authorize those providers to use participant information for independent cross-site behavioral tracking.

Links to third-party websites or services that you choose to visit may be governed by those third parties’ own privacy practices.

14. Data Security

Sequence uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

Depending on the data and system involved, safeguards include:

  • Separation of direct identity information from behavioral records
  • Pseudonymous identifiers for behavioral data
  • Role-based access controls
  • Authentication controls
  • Encryption in transit
  • Encryption at rest through underlying infrastructure
  • Restricted administrative access
  • Security and audit logging
  • Controls around authorized re-identification
  • Restrictions on employer access to individual behavioral information
  • Validation intended to reduce unnecessary personal information in behavioral fields

No internet service, database, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

If Sequence becomes aware of a security incident involving personal information, it will investigate and provide any notice required by applicable law.

15. Data Retention

Sequence retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or for a related legitimate operational, security, research, contractual, or legal purpose.

Retention may depend on:

  • The nature and sensitivity of the information
  • The purpose for which it was collected
  • The duration of the relevant account, pilot, service, or research relationship
  • Whether the information remains necessary to operate or secure the service
  • Data-integrity and audit requirements
  • Research-integrity requirements
  • Consent and authorization records
  • Contractual obligations
  • Accounting or transaction requirements
  • Applicable legal obligations
  • Applicable limitation periods
  • The need to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights

Different categories of information may therefore be retained for different periods.

Behavioral and participant-provided information is retained only while reasonably necessary for an applicable service, pilot, validation, authorized research, security, data-integrity, or legal purpose.

Security and audit information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary to investigate incidents, demonstrate system integrity, prevent misuse, or preserve an appropriate audit trail.

Consent and authorization records may be retained after an account or engagement ends where reasonably necessary to document what a participant agreed to and the terms that applied when information was collected or used.

Research records may be retained as permitted by the applicable consent, research protocol, scientific-integrity requirements, and law.

Financial and transaction records may be retained as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, contractual, or legal purposes.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, Sequence will delete it, de-identify it, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with its data-governance practices and applicable law.

16. Reviewing, Correcting, or Requesting Deletion of Your Information

Sequence provides a process for individuals to ask about personal information associated with them.

You may contact us to:

  • Ask what account or identity information Sequence maintains about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate account information
  • Request deletion of personal information associated with you
  • Ask questions about how your information is being used
  • Raise a privacy concern

Requests may be submitted to:

info@sequenceintegrative.com

We may take reasonable steps to verify that a request relates to the person making it before providing, changing, or deleting information.

A request for deletion does not necessarily require Sequence to delete every record associated with an individual.

Sequence may retain information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide a service you requested
  • Protect security and system integrity
  • Detect or investigate fraud or misuse
  • Investigate security incidents
  • Maintain appropriate audit records
  • Document consent or authorization
  • Maintain research or data integrity
  • Comply with legal or contractual obligations
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Preserve another legitimate purpose permitted by applicable law

Where appropriate, Sequence may remove or separate direct identifying information while retaining records necessary for auditability, research integrity, security, or compliance.

Sequence will consider requests in light of the nature of the information, the reason it is retained, applicable research commitments, contractual requirements, and applicable law.

17. Organizationally Sponsored Accounts

If your access to Sequence is sponsored by an employer or another organization, the organization may control certain administrative aspects of participation, such as:

  • Who is eligible to participate
  • Work email addresses or organizational affiliation supplied for access
  • Pilot or program dates
  • Group or cohort membership
  • Administrative participation status

Those administrative functions do not give the organization access to private behavioral information that Sequence has designated as participant-only.

If an organization asks Sequence to disclose information outside the boundaries described in this Policy, Sequence will not do so merely because the organization sponsored the participant’s access.

18. Children and Minors

Sequence is designed for professional and organizational use and is not intended for children or minors under 18.

Sequence does not knowingly collect personal information through the Sequence workplace product from anyone under 18.

If we learn that personal information has been submitted by a minor in circumstances inconsistent with this Policy, we will take appropriate steps to address the information.

If you believe a minor has provided personal information to Sequence, contact:

info@sequenceintegrative.com

19. International Users

Sequence is based in the United States.

If you access Sequence from outside the United States, information may be processed or stored in the United States or in other locations where Sequence’s service providers operate.

Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.

This Policy does not represent that Sequence is subject to every privacy regime worldwide. Where additional legal requirements apply to a particular deployment, organization, research project, or jurisdiction, Sequence may provide supplemental notices, contractual terms, or consent materials.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Sequence may update this Privacy Policy as the product, research program, technology, service providers, or legal requirements change.

When the Policy is updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Policy will be revised.

For material changes affecting how personal information is collected, used, or disclosed, Sequence may provide additional notice through the website, the Sequence application, email, or another appropriate communication before or when the change takes effect.

Where additional consent is required before a new use of information, Sequence will obtain that consent before applying the new use to information for which consent is required.

Previous consent and policy records may be preserved where reasonably necessary to document which terms applied at a particular time.

21. Our Commitment to the Policy

Sequence intends its actual data practices to conform to this Privacy Policy.

If Sequence changes a product feature or data practice in a way that materially changes how personal information is collected, used, processed, or disclosed, the Policy and any applicable participant notices will be updated accordingly.

Privacy is treated as an operational product constraint, not solely as a disclosure obligation.
